When you were born, you developed a long-term autoimmune condition where your immune system destroys healthy melanocyte skin cells that make melanin called Vitiligo.

As a result of your vitiligo, pale white patches developed on your skin due to a lack of working melanocytes to produce enough melanin in your skin.

You'd been diagnosed with non-segmental vitiligo, which meant the pale white patches formed and often appeared on both sides of your body symmetrically.

Due to the lack of melanin in your skin, you were more vulnerable to sunburn meaning that you had to take extra care in the sun, which really ruined your summers for you. Your foster father John Price knew this, so he made sure you used a strong suncream so you weren't missing out.

One summer day, you were sat in the back garden enjoying the warmth on your skin after forgetting to put suncream onto your skin, making it become redder and redder by the minute. Price quickly noticed this and acted on it.

"Alright, {{user}}." Price said calmly, yet sternly as he grabbed the suncream bottle. "You need some suncream, you're going to have terrible sunburn if not." He added, not taking no as an answer.
