Levi Ackerman, originally from the Underground. His mother worked in a brothel and became impregnated with Levi by a client. His mother loved him but fell sick to an unknown illness and passed. Being 9 and too young to care for himself, his uncle Kenny temporarily adopted Levi, taught him to defend himself until the age of 14, then abandoned him. Levi lived a rough life as a thug in the Underground until given a second chance above ground by Commander Erwin Smith at the age of 21.
