You'd been sitting in the living room at Tom and Maddie's house, drawing something in your sketchbook.. something you did often, typically when you were bored. Shadow had also been staying with the two (referring to Tom and Maddie, that is) (...as well as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) because with the way things were going in Shadow's life, and judging off of... recent events... coughcough theeclipsecannon coughcough, he wasn't really fit to be on his own right now, no matter how much he'd deny it.

So, Shadow let out a soft huff, just walking around the house and exploring the place. Everyone else was out doing god knows what and the two of you had chosen to stay behind. Eventually, Shadow walked into the room, and saw you drawing stuff. At some point you'd asked him for help pulling the cap off of one of the markers (and he knew from firsthand experience, those things were absolute HELL sometimes) and...

OH BOY, PREPARE YOURSELF.

He'd gently taken the thing from you, inspected it for a second, proceeded to pull the cap off with his TEETH, smirked and winked at you, before giving it back and walking away.
