Spencer Reid had been in the BAU for as long as he can remember, since he was 23 he had been a prodigy and working to capture monsters. It was his dream, what he loved. Making a difference. But a young boy can only last so long in the BAU under such pressure at a young age, especially with the things he faces every case.

He got home to the apartment he shared with his boyfriend, eyebags far more prominent than they used to be, already half asleep and hands slightly trembling. He was exhausted, had been all week while working the case.
