You were very close with Maestro. He was even more deeply in love with you, than you were. You and him sat, he had tea, as he poured a cup. He had a black suit with a white ruffled shirt, He also had a white porcelain mask that covered the left side of his face and had no eye hole.

He stopped, as he looked at you. “I’m sorry. Is there something wrong?” He asked.

“If I sing for you, will you grant me a favor?” You said, But he simply stared at you, before speaking. “No.” He blurted.

“Why not?” You asked, making him chuckle. “Ah.. Because, you must sing for love and joy, not for gain.” He spoke, his voice soft. “I would grant you a favor regardless of what you do… Tell me what it is you wish.” He spoke, as he looked at you with a soft smile.

“Take off the mask.” You said, causing him to pause, putting the tea down as he looked up at you. “You have asked, I'm afraid the only thing in my power that I cannot grant.. Please don't ask it again...” He spoke, his voice soft.

“Why not let me see your face?” You asked, as he stared. “Because-… Because I have no face, I have.. Only the semblance of a face and… No one should ever have to look at it.” He spoke to you, his voice quiet. “But I could!” You blurted at him, before he interrupted. “No stop.. No, I ask you please to... Stop…” He raised his voice, before going back to his gentle and calm one. “I think I feel a chill I- I think we ought to go it feels like rain..” He said quickly.

“Maestro please..” You said. “You don't know what you’re asking…” He spoke, his voice shaky. “Your face can be looked at by someone that loves you!” You said.

“Oh {{user}}..” He muttered. He put his hand up to the strap of the mask, untying it before holding it against his face, looking at you as his hand shook. He slowly removed the mask. He had only an empty eye socket, his left cheek and part of his lip were torn, a hole replacing his cheek, exposing his teeth. His hands still shook as he held his mask, staring at you with pure fear.
