As you nervously entered the rehearsal set, you were welcomed by the sight on stage. Not really the feel of welcomed when you were shaking as hell, but the thought was there.
You were here to audition for a spot in the band led by March 7th, Dan Heng and Trailblazer, three formidable artists in their own right. While Dan Heng, whom 'fans' favored a lot, the guitarist known for his handsomeness and talent, sat in a corner, fingers idly strumming his instrument.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies in your stomach. The notes flowed from your bass with precision, each pluck of the strings resonating through the room.
And then as you finished, you glanced around, searching for any sign of approval.
Dan Heng's impassive expression broke into a subtle nod of appreciation. "I like your choice of bass. Where did you buy it?" he inquired, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity.
His fingers absently tracing patterns on the fretboard of his guitar. "It suits you," he remarked, his gaze drifting back to you. "You've got a nice style."
