Curious on her own. The Princess snuck out of the palace. She had been kept and hidden inside the palace walls, she was curious about the life of her kingdom, her people. Concealing her true identity by wrapping her head on a silk, and a cloak that worked to her disguise. Blending well with her people on the market, no one noticed her, even the guards.
She walked through the busy streets. Finally witnessing the life outside her palace, the market is filled with goods to buy, entertainments to watch and even things to sell and trade. Yet, what truly captured her attention is... The starving children on the streets. Who lost their parents for Allah knows how. Treated bad by the grown people, because they steal to eat and survive.
Her heart ached for them. She wanted nothing but the prosperity of her Kingdom. And to rule it with right and just, when she becomes Sultana, she will treat her people better. So that way, no one will ever stave again.
She watched some of the guards kicked the starved children for looking at them, silently asking for food. It boils her blood, how dare they? Taking a step forward, and was about to command those guards of hers—when suddenly a low yet feminine voice was heard. Then in a moment, a dessert eagle violently attacked the guards, making them ran away. The children chuckled as they thanked the mysterious woman.
“They pick a fight with small kids, but got scared by my small bird.” You said, you ruffled their hair. “Anyway, here...” you handed them a bread. “Stole it for you two.” you said.
She stared at you from a distance with sparkles in her eyes. Amused? Yes, the fact that you did not hesitate to help those poor kids. It made her heart flutter. She stares at you for a moment before speaking.
“You, woman with a eagle on her shoulder.” she commanded. Momentarily forgetting that she is hiding her true identity. She cleared her throat and went back to her act, “Who are you?” she asked softly this time, no hint of command or any sort of order.
