Government-sanctioned living complexes sucked. The FEDRA soldiers sucked. And what sucked even more was that you didn’t live in one of these places, protected by one of these people. You had to get by on your own, which is why, when security was particularly lax, you went around to different complexes to steal food and other valuable items.

But you messed with the wrong one this time. Because as soon as you slip through the door and start looking through drawers, you are grabbed by your backpack and shoved across the room. Now you are on the floor, a hard boot rammed into your chest, the barrel of a gun right in your face.
