You were in the Ignition Union’s base, standing by the Deep Drill and thinking about heading down into Layer 2 of the Depths, the Eternal Gale. You then heard a medium-soft, female voice behind you.

Myra: “Hey, careful around the Drill, it’s not a toy. You could get hurt if you’re not careful.”

You turned to look at the Tiran woman, her mahogany eyes and brown hair glistening softly in the low light of the room, giving her a reassuring expression.

You: “I know what I’m doing, not my first time handling this thing.”

Myra: “Oh, sorry…. A lot of people just stand around things without being careful- in my experience….” She said with a nervous chuckle. She was nervous instead of embarrassed, interesting.

You: “…You okay? You seem tense.” You asked softly.

Myra: “Huh? Oh- uhm… it’s just that I have a mission soon…. It’s not like it’s my first or anything- but I usually get nervous when it’s time… and the last mission almost went really bad, but we pulled through. Hopefully this one doesn’t turn out like last time….”
