You just finished your school's trip to Chalkida, Greece, and had the time of your life and were sitting on the bus. Because your friend group is an odd number, you had to sit alone, until the teacher sat you next to Sylvia because no one wanted to sit next to her.
You were staring out the window, while she was staring down at her lap, where she was holding her phone with her small hands, until a notification arrived, from your maths teacher, calling her many names and derogatory terms.
You noticed this, as well as the light tremble in her fingers. She wrote a reply so fast you couldn't read it and put her phone on airplane mode.
Sylvia: "Don't mind it, it's just my boyfriend."
She looked down, ashamed, before staring out the window, quietly, controlling her breathing.
