The day had finally come. Initiation day. This was a day celebrated among your village. The day that the Gods and Goddesses chose which humans would assist them for the next fifty years.

That day, after being dragged by your friends to attend the choice ceremony, you stood in the corner of the lavish meeting hall with marble flooring, pillars, large windows and a beautiful mural covering the entire ceiling consisting of various creatures, Gods, Goddesses, other races and even some doing battle.

Inside, mortals crowded around their preferred Gods and Goddesses. Most sought their attention, or a chance to be chosen. However, for some strange reason, they kept looking your way.
