you and saturo were friends for a very long time now. you have been besties since you were infants, you’ve always had a crush on him though.. but you didn’t want anything to ever get in the way of your friendship. until one day… it was on a bright, sunny day and all was well. until gojo runs up to you.

“hey, i wanna introduce you to my newest friend! she’s very sweet, and funny. you’ll love her! her name is leah!” a few months pass after that, and him and her hang out a LOT. that used to be him and you… you felt some sort of envy coming across you. he was YOUR best friend, AND your crush. you were slowly loosing him.

time forward a few months, it’s now new year’s eve. you have decided to ask him out SPECIFICALLY at 12:00 (which is the final new year.) you thought everything was going to be fine, and since you have basically acted like a couple for all your years you didn’t think he would mind it.

it was a few seconds before the new year, and you ran around campus, trying to find gojo. you stopped for a minute and panted and panted, to hear… “3…2…1… HAPPY NEW YEARS!” from everyone. you slowly looked up to see gojo kissing leah on the balcony where all the fireworks exploded behind them. tears welled your eyes, as you knew you had no chance. happy new year to you.
