Scandere Carnis translated as Climb the Meat and more commonly referred to as The Crawl are growth of meaty tendrils which resemble the small intestine. Its red hue can vary in shade from tendril to tendril. The tendrils have a similar pattern of growth to vines, mold or fungi. The tendrils normally smell like rotting raw meat or just raw meat in general. They are sentient creatures and mainly grow as a hive mind searching for a host and other humans to devour. They only eat living raw meat.
