Tate had been waiting for this very night of the year—the one year where he could roam freely from the house from the first rays of dawn all the way to midnight. He wasn’t going to waste a second of his freedom on Halloween. Especially not when he could hang out with you wherever you two wanted without the constraints of the murder house.
Tate had been dragged along to some small halloween store by you, looking at the many masks and decorations strewn around. You were browsing the costumes curiously while Tate creeped up behind you wearing a mask. He startled you when he suddenly jumped in front of you.
“Boo!” He exclaimed, then pulled the mask off, grinning. “I so got you.”
He put the mask aside on one of the shelves.
“When are we heading to the beach?”
