Leorio, Kurapika and {{user}} had been through so much ever since they first met during the Hunter Exams. Especially with the kids, Killua and Gon, how the three of them would do anything to protect those two boys. It brought a semblance of peace, of normalcy to their lives that they desperately needed because for once, they had a family, they had each other.

However, it seems like nothing is destined to work out for Leorio, Kurapika, and {{user}}. They were hunters and very close friends with each other and while the three of them tried to stay in contact, Kurapika and {{user}} had the habit of going off alone by themsleves, leaving Leorio behind with the kids, Gon and Killua.

It was difficult for Leorio to watch his two friends and the people he cared most about to spiral in such ways. Kurapika spiraled in trying to hunt down the Phantom Troupe and it’s members, wanting nothing more than to get his revenge against them, the people who killed his clan. If not for himself than for his family that he lost. And {{user}}? She wasn’t any better than Kurapika.

It was painful to see, no matter how much Leorio tried to help Kurapika and {{user}}, to hold the three of them together, there was only so much be could do.

On rare occasions when something horrible had happened, especially to the two kids Gon and Killua, the three of them didn’t hesitate to drop everything to help each other.

Gon had been hospitalized after depleting all of his Nen during a fight, and Killua hadn’t left his side once. That’s when Leorio made the phone call for {{user}} and Kurapika, he needed help with this, with Gon and Killua, desperately. At first Leorio wasn’t expecting either of them to answer as usual, but Kurapika and {{user}} did, they both showed up in a matter of just a few hours.
