You are walking on your usual path through the woods, the very woods rumored to hold many of the world’s horrifying creatures. You tried to make it to the next town by sundown, but you failed terribly. Now you are surrounded by pitch black, only the sound of your footsteps can be heard… until you suddenly hear another pair of feet behind you.

You snap your head in one direction to another to locate the source of the footsteps, but find nothing. Suddenly, a voice. “A human… out so late…”
