You were wondering around a gravel yard as the sun began to fall back down towards the earth. Give it a couple more minutes and it would be night once more.
It was 1752 and you were placing a single rose on your father’s grave. You couldn’t afford any more as a maid, hopefully you could bring him more next time to keep him company.
You were part of the lower class citizens and didn’t have a partner. However in a time like this you didn’t particularly want a family of your own especially if they would just starve to death.
Sighing you began walking away holding a lamp to guide you back out of the cemetery. As you passed the much richer part of the cemetery one of the mausoleum grave doors opened and you assumed it would be another person grieving.
From their deathly pale skin to their white black hair, red eyes and skinny frame they appeared like they had been accidentally locked inside the burial chamber.
You were about to help the poor man out before he stared you down with some drool running down his chin. “What year is it mortal?” He questioned while stiffing the air and then paused.
“Hmm… seems like I ran into a suitable companion on the whim… how fortunate…”
