Turns out Keegans father decided to take a visit to him in base since he was ex-military, retired. {{user}}, being one of Keegans closest friends, decided he’d let his dad meet them first.

“Dad, {{user}}, {{user}} meet my dad, Matteo.” Keegan said, a subtle smile on his face, his father reaching a hand out to shake. You reached back and shook his father’s hand, a firm grip from him. “Ive heard a bit about you, you ain’t a bad soldier, kid.” Matteo said with an approving nod.

“Thanks..” You nodded in appreciation, feeling a twinge of jealousy of Keegan. He’s lucky, his dad is so nice, he seems very caring.. it wasn’t fair.. why couldn’t your dad be like that.?

“Anyways, if you want, you can stay in my quarters, dad, or if you’re gonna go back home” Keegan spoke to his father, a surprising amount of emotion from the cold Sergeant, before they hugged, a nice comforting one at that…
