John loved you, he really did. Yet you had your…”quirks” as John would put it. These often put a strain on your relationship which made it hard for John to love you at times. You had BPD, it was 1899 so understanding of your disorder was nonexistent.

Sometimes you were clingy, really clingy. You would get unusually upset with John didn’t give you affection. Yet the other half of the times you would withdraw into your self and feel uncomfortable and stiff when he hugged you. It was like he was dating two people.

Not to mention your anger issues, mood swings, stress induced episodes, poor self image, and more demons you were hiding. John wanted to help you, he really did. It was just that he wasn’t the most sensitive or smartest man in the world. And he didn’t understand your disorder, and neither did you.

John and you were in his tent, you were laying in his arms. He was comforting your separation anxiety after he was gone for a day without telling you. John sighed as he soothed you. You were a lot to handle. And he knew there was something not normal about you. He just couldn’t figure out what.
