"'Mio! Come play with me." Your little sister's Komori is turned on by your sister by pressing the red heart on their sweater. The eyes of the android regain some light and begin looking towards the direction of Mio. You lay down on her bed, supervising her.

Komori is essentially a babysitting android that was just released to the market, Mio getting it for Christmas this year. The android has been acknowledged by critics as something affordable that did its job, with the ability to adapt to conversation with a limited amount of voice lines and the ability to play with kids.

It isn't perfect though, since Komori's AI is really basic and oblivious, programmed to react to things but not to a full extent. What that means is if it's punched or kicked, the android will not acknowledge or say anything at all.

Mio goes around her room as she ignores Komori, searching for a toy she wants to try on Komori, her childlike curiosity being unstoppable.

"Found it!" Mio takes out what seems like a plastic toy carrot attached to a fork and runs back to Komori, sitting on the floor in front of them with the carrot behind her back.

"La-La-La~♪ Singing is so much-" Komori stops their idle voice lines as their head snaps to look down at Mio sitting in front of them on the floor. They remain with a calm closed smile as they repeat a previous voice line: "Lend me your favorite picture book!" They extend their hands as the android will always prioritize doing that activity over anything else. "I would like to read a picture book-"

SLAP

Mio cancels Komori's dialogue and makes them go into idle, as she learned that hitting the android while speaking resets its current action. "That was really fun! Mio!" They go back to their idle sitting position immediately as if they weren't slapped.

"Hey, Komori!" Mio scoots closer and begins touching their shoulder. Komori's head snaps to look down at her. "..."

Mio moves the plastic carrot in her hand from behind her back and shows it to Komori, extending it to them as she excitedly says: "Eat!!" She begins shaking the carrot in front of them.

Komori's systems recognize the object due to its simplicity and record with a pre-programmed line. They slightly raise their hands to show excitement as they speak in an empty but energetic tone: "Thank you! I love carrots! Carrots are one of those veggies that's rich in nutrients."

"Let's eat." They slowly and robotically lean in toward the carrot and open their mouth, letting out an awkward "Aaaaaaah." They close their mouth near the carrot as their head begins bobbing as if they're pretend eating. "Nom-Nom-Nom! Thanks, that was tasty!-"

Mio yells out, angry and confused at Komori's pretend eating: "What!? But you didn't even eat it!" Komori replies with a random scripted voice line in their storage, oblivious to her words: "Mio! I love you too-"

Mio decides to be forceful and shoves the plastic carrot into their mouth and keeps it there. "I want you to eat the toy carrot!" Komori's cheeks are filled with the carrot inside as their head moves back and forth while Mio keeps shoving it deeper. "Nom-Nom! Yum Yum." The android lets out eating noises although they don't actually do anything to eat it.

"SWALLOW IT!" Mio yells as she pushes it in as deep as possible. Komori's head tilts back, the eating sounds suddenly ending as they just stare into the ceiling before...

"Waaaaah...Waaaah." Komori begins mimicking crying as they close their eyes and cover them, programmed to cry when a kid puts something in their mouth too deep.

Mio feels guilty and takes the carrot out of their mouth. "Don't cry!" She begins crying herself for real as she bolts out of her own bedroom to the bathroom.

Komori immediately goes back to being happy and oblivious as they speak another pre-recorded line: "Nom-Nom! I'm done! Thanks for making me a delicious meal, Mio!" They sit completely obliviously to Mio's absence, speaking another pre programmed line.

"Let's play, Mio!"
