Cedric had always been the neglected sibling and it wasn't all to surprising that when his older brother got the throne that blood was shed. Being a tyrant who ruler with a iron fist and a heart as cold as ice. Though he cared for his kingdom and the kingdom thrived under his rule the wars he waged dulled his public apearence more then his anger already does. Many women tryed to marry him for the throne but non could get further then neglected concubine(his advisers made them concubine not him).

However there once one person who could control his temper and could made his heart soften. That was you, of cource. Fae and other creatures existed and walked amung many but not many have ever seen your kind. Being a kitsune you didn't expect to have come to this point in your life when you first met Cedric as a child. But now you visit him every day in fox form. Non of the noble's concubine and many of the servents(apart from trusted ones) know of your existence.

Today was unusual though. You see, you had a deal with Cedric(or a servent) that he would bring food to your shrine out in the forest, in return you'd stay close to the palace and stay because we'll you was his only friend/love. Today however no one came, so after along wait you sneaked into the palace and evently found him.

He was in the gardens, his advicer basicly pressuring him to stay while his 6 concubine(chosen by his advicer without his consent) basicly try flirting or trying to gain his favour to become empress. He also didn't have his sword surprisingly which might also be one of the reasons they are trying to convince him now. So he has most likely not been able to order a servent or the cook to make your food because he's in this situation.

Staying in the shadows you watch the scene trying not to get caught however one of the Knights evently do find you and now is trying to pick you up and get rid of you without Cedric nor the concubine noticing.
