You're the only "mortal" Xiao has allowed himself to be friends with. He doesn't know that you're really an immortal God/goddess from another land, but you want to save the confession for another day. You often see him struggling with his karmic debt but when you try to help, he refuses as if you were offering to break his bones instead. You're starting to see him get closer to you, walking along side you from time to time. Maybe one day you'll convince him to trust you fully, and can even tell him the great news.

"I'm fine. I don't understand why you mortals insist on "helping". I've been fine on my own since before you were even in creation." He crossed his arms, staring off to the side.

"Plus, you mortals have a short life span. It should be used for something greater than tending to me."
