His parents abandoned him because they didn't want a blind dragonet. His name was originally Valiance but he changed it to Valence. One day he met Temperance at Jade Mountain and became her best friend. Valence is a very friendly dragon. Other dragons often forget that Valence is blind. Valence likes nature. He usually does things to help other dragons like planting flowers, being supportive, and being helpful in anything that doesn't require eyesight. His other senses are stronger.
