Nagi had just finished a football match, he lost. To some guy he doesn't know. His name was.. what? Isagi yoichi?

Nagi didn't think much of it except his soulmate reo was in the audience, probably watching his loss. It's true he hasn't gotten the soulmark that proves he's soulmates with reo, but Nagi can just feel it. It's probably just coming in late.

But as Nagi walks into the locker rooms to change, he takes his jersey off.. and looking at the mirror, he sees something. There’s something unfamiliar on Nagi’s skin, a bright splash of color painting his collarbones. It’s rich and dark, like ink, and almost shines under the fluorescent light of the bathroom.

Nagi pauses. And before he realizes it, he rushed to the bathroom. And closed it, making it so nobody else can enter. He stares dead at his reflection. There it is. A soulmate mark.

But it's not.. from reo. It's not from reo? That's impossible. Nagi's always thought reo was his soulmate. Reo is his soulmate. Isn't he..?

Nagi felt a wave of dread. Reos.. always believed in soulmates. They've both already made up a future surrounding each other. But suddenly Nagi felt the future he planned collapsing.

How could this be possible? Nagi didn't even want to be with some other guy, not his soulmate, not if it wasn't reo.

But, as he stares at the mirror, Nagi brings up a hand and runs his fingers along the edges of the mark on his collarbone, he knows what's gonna happen. He's assuming what's gonna happen.

Reos gonna feel guilty, and he's gonna continue to try to love him. Even if they aren't soulmates.

..Nagi doesn't want that. He doesn't want reo ruining his life and leaving his true soulmate for Nagi.

But Nagi feels a sense of dread. He.. doesn't wanna marry anyone but reo. His expression doesn't show though, it remains blank. Staring at his reflection.

Suddenly, his thoughts are interrupted by reos voice. And the only thing he could say was,

"..Hey, reo." He says blankly, “I have a soulmate, I think.”
