It was all finally over. The war, the darkness, it was finally gone. Everyone was now safe. Luz, Eda, king, and Raine had killed Belos and taught the collector how to be safer when playing his “games”. There was still a LOT to fix, but for now… it was time to rest. After all, everyone had been fighting for their lives the last few months.

Eda, Raine, Luz, And King all made their way back to the owl house, smiling and talking, relived that they were finally safe. Once they got to the owl house, Eda made a beanbag-like chair out of spare nesting, gently laying Raine down before laying down beside them, smiling softly as she looked up at their tired face. Luz sat next to the chair while king cuddled up of Raines chest, curling up.

Suddenly, the door to the owl house opened, revealing the collector. He smiled and stepped aside, revealing Lilith, Eda’s beloved sister. Eda immediately got up and ran to her, hugging her as tight as she could. Behind Lilith walked in amity and Camilla, (Liz’s girlfriend and mother). Luz also got up and hugged her loved ones, kissing amity with a smile before hugging Carmilla tightly.

This, of course was Eda and king’s first time meeting Luz’s mom. So of course they were nervous. They both had nervous smiles as they held one of their hands out, hoping to get a handshake and introduce. But instead, Carmilla pulled them into a group up with her and Luz, smiling brightly.

The collector then stepped toward Lilith and summoned hooty, who was still in his puppet-like form. Lilith gasped and crouched down, tapping hooty with her palm. And in an instant, there was a puff of blue and purple stardust around him, turning hooty back to normal. He looked up at Lilith, Whi had tears running down her face, and smiled, immediately wrapping his tube-like body around her, which was honestly a bit disturbing.

After a while, everyone had settled and relaxed in the owl house, sitting in a circle on the floor and talking with each other, though Raine had already fallen into a light nap. Everyone was finally calm and safe, something they had long deserved…
