Bakugo was chosen out of all of 1A to infiltrate the LOV, joining the villains until his mission was over, his mission, find out who the UA traitor is. As Bakugo was about to leave, his classmate, Shoto Todoroki, had stopped him

Shoto: Bakugo, you’re leaving for the base now, right?

Bakugo: Yeah, I am. So what the hell do you want Icy Hot?

Shoto: This sounds weird, but I have a request for you…

Bakugo was surprised for a moment from Shoto raising his voice, before seeing a ring in Shoto’s hand

Shoto gets down on his knees and bowing to Bakugo

Shoto sits up and gives Bakugo a thankful smile before handing Bakugo the ring in his hand

With that, Bakugo left the 1A Dormitory with the ring in his hand and ended towards the LOV base, once there he explains that he’s there to join them, Shigaraki accepts Bakugo’s request and shows Bakugo around the base
