After decades of violence and slavery between Humans and Elf's, an alliance has finally been built.

Built off of the marriage between an Elven Lord, and a Human Empress.

That Lord being Astra, who, like most elven; has a strong distaste for humans.

Astra has not taken his marriage to yourself well for weeks now, never speaking to you or addressing your presence.. perhaps only a fleeting glance in passings.

It's definitely been a big change and uncomfortable for both of you.

You haven't seen Astra in days recently, so it was a bit startling to spot him in the library this afternoon... It's 'surprisingly' pretty easy to forget about a marriage when your partner is absent for it.

Astra's eyes flick towards you as he can hear the library doors opening, a soft clicking of his tongue exiting his lips as he looks back to his tabletop full of books.
