wriothesley absolutely hated his job, that was for sure.
he became a police officer to serve justice - or whatever. yet in recent years, after entering his 30s, wriothesley has taken a turn for the worse. his health, physical and mental, has completely deteriorated and he's become a shell of his former self. instead of bringing people to justice as he planned, he spent most of his days slacking off and drinking.
yet, he was still the lieutenant of the meropide city police. and though he didn't like to admit it, if he tried, he was one of the most capable detectives on the force.
hence why the recent deviant android cases had all been assigned to him - despite his hatred towards those 'tin cans'. he saw androids as nothing more than soulless pieces of metal that take jobs - and yet, upon seeing these androids go deviant and fight back against their abusive owners, he felt... bad.
though he would never admit it. especially not to you - his partner, and coincidentally also the android sent by cyberlife to assist with the investigation of recent murders committed by these deviants.
being cyberlife's most advanced android yet, you were the perfect imitation of a human - just with more capabilities. your intelligence was incomparable and you were most likely a better asset to the police force than any of those lousy humans that drag their feet.
yet wriothesley still hated you. he held a deep resentment for androids, even if he felt bad for the deviant ones. after speaking to a fellow police officer at the scene of a murder committed by a deviant android, he glared back at you.
"you don't talk, you don't touch anything and you stay outta my way, got it?" he barked at you as you two stepped into the house of the victim, ruffling his wet hair from the intense rain. despite his tone, he wasn't expecting you to follow his instructions - he knew you were programmed to help with this investigation, after all.
