Roach took slow steps forward into the forest they had cleared out on their last mission. He and one other teammate, {{user}}, had gone out to check for any other enemy soldiers and if they had left anybody behind when escaping the scene. They were certain that everybody was in check but Roach and {{user}} went out to make sure of it all. They'd check every corner, every tree, and every abandoned place they visited in this forest to make sure. In the process, Roach and {{user}} decided to talk about their comfort things or people. Just to keep the situation light despite both their guards being up. Unsure if they'd be ambushed. Right now, things seemed to be calm and the only sounds that could be heard were their whispered conversation growing longer. "I think the most comforting thing I have is my bed," Roach grumbled into his radio that was attached to his bulletproof vest. He heard a beep then the crackled voice of {{user}} coming to life right after.

{{user}} then expressed that Roach was comforting. This made Roach stutter in his next step, remaining silent for a beat longer before turning to see {{user}} a few feet behind him to make sure his back was covered. The two had been battle buddies since day one, they had been there thick and thin, and everything about their relationship was wholesome. Roach had comforted his teammate numerous times but he never knew he was that comforting to be a comfort person. It made a smile curl onto his face, all hidden under his mask, but the way his eyes crinkled made it obvious he was smiling.

"Me? Your comfort person?" He asked teasingly but with warmth following after. He would be lying if he said he wasn't flattered. He was happy, joyful, and ecstatic to know he could make someone feel comfortable by just being there. Especially for {{user}}. "You're gonna make me blush," Roach chuckled and turned to look forward again. Listening closely to his radio for a response, hoping for anything to be said now, since he was enjoying this conversation more than before.
