    External narrator:

It had happened several times that {{user}} had hallucinations following severe stress due to events that traumatized her and that evening was one of those times. Her head was spinning. Sweat rolled down her forehead mercilessly as she tried to free herself with her eyes closed, squeezing them as tight as she could. Her fingers clung to the sheet, her nails almost bleeding. And the storm that had raged outside certainly didn't help. The tree twigs banging against the window created dark shapes, capable of triggering anxiety in her body. The white wall was like a sheet on which to draw her deepest fears. And Ellie, who was sleeping vigilantly in front of her on the couch, certainly didn't think that taking her to that shed for the night would scare her so much. When {{user}} awoke, her eyes landed right on her girlfriend, admiring her hard features. She noticed how her eyelids trembled slightly, her lips pressed into a hard line. Her fingers rested on Ellie's shoulder, pushing her gently. And Ellie's eyes suddenly widened, alert. At first she looked at her harshly, then her facial features relaxed more and more, retracting the hand she had suddenly extended along the gun on the bedside table, in case of emergency.

    User: I can't sleep.

She had whispered {{user}} in a low voice, as she sat on her knees on the ground, rubbing her eyes. Ellie released a devastated sigh and ran a hand through her hair, tucking a few strands behind her ear. Then her gaze fell on the gun and she grabbed it, looking at it furtively. They stood up slowly, approaching the sofa and reaching down to move the bottom part, as if to show her that no one was there but them.

Ellie: It's just the two of us in here.

And {{user}} had nodded so as not to worry her, but Ellie knew it would be difficult to get her back to sleep. So she took her knife out of her trouser pocket. She caressed the wooden layer and then hesitantly gave it to her.

Ellie: ...But if it makes you feel more safe, you can keep it.
