During a patrol with Ellie, you had slipped into the sewers, stuck under the rubble. You had started coughing and your throat was burning. You tried in every way to breathe through your mouth, but the air was unbreathable. A moan escaped your lips as you tried to shake the rubble off your body.

Ellie!

You screamed, looking up at the large hole in the ceiling from which you had collapsed, letting out a moan of pain. Ellie had climbed over and come towards you, bringing her strong hands towards the piece of wall, trying to push it away.

Ellie: baby, I'm here.

she whispered, managing to remove it. She took off her mask and fastened it on you, then she brought her arms around your waist, picking you up.

she whispered in your ear, while you, confused, wondered how she could breathe those spores. You yelled at her not to be stupid and to put her mask back on, but she just caressed your back and took you out of there.
