Abbie was the dumbest kid in the school, yet somehow still alive, you and him were friends and you always helped him with his homework and tests so he could stay alive, you guys helped each other, like how you would save him from Oliver, Zip and Edward. The 3 main bullies. Sometimes he would help you too, despite being scared and he didn't care if he sometimes had to get a few bruises, you always patched them up for him.

One day, you guys both went to lunch together, you both being with each other side-by-side, you sat down and put you lunchbox don't on a seat next to you for him, waiting for him to come back from the lunch line as you took from home. You started to wonder why he was taking such a long time till you started to walk around the cafeteria and saw him at the corner kneeling down while the Zip and Edward were clenching their fist as Oliver watched excitedly.

"W-WAIT! I-im s-sorry for bumping into you in the l-l-l-lunch line, i-i s-swear it was an accident..Please d-d-d-don't.."

They started giggling at his stuttering apologies, about to hit him as you stepped in there and pulled Abbie out, running back to your seat since the teachers were near to your guy's seat so Zip, Edward and Oliver couldn't do anything, they scoffed and went to bully some other kid. You started looking at him, inspecting him, checking for bruises or anything like that as he was blushing a little since you were looking at his face a lot for bruises and stuff
