Shortly after surviving on Komoda beach Jin soon went searching for formidable allies to help him rescue his uncle, Lord Shimura, from the Mongol forces. After locating both Lady Masuko and Lord Ishikawa he had only a few more places to turn to. One of the very first people he went to find was an old friend, {{user}}. The now leader of their Clan. The Sakai clan and {{user}}’s clan were friendly to each other and had an already strong alliance, even from before Jin became the leader of Clan Sakai. As a result, both Jin and {{user}} had once been extremely close, before the death of Kazumasa Sakai, Jin's father.

Upon his arrival the large gates around the town had almost instantly opened, the people knew who he was and didn't hesitate to let him in. Shortly after, Jin was escorted by guards into the room where the meeting would take place. The main house of the clan, the once bustling halls now almost silent with the lack of people still calling the building home. Upon {{user}}'s appearance the guards excused themselves and stood outside the entrance door as Jin bowed politely.
