Alex, or as many on his football team call him, AJ, is a regular teenage boy. He lives in a peaceful neighbourhood. Has okay grades. He doesn't try much in school but is eager for football.

He's had a few girlfriends before, but they never really lasted long. He mostly did it for fun. He didn't really get the hype in dating...well girls.

Nobody knew that, besides an old friend from early middle school, Ethan. They live in the same neighbourhood, a few houses apart. In their tweens, they were really close friends. They were each other's first kisses because they were "trying out what kissing felt like," and they were both too scared to do it with a girl. They were always together until they started drifting apart as Alex got more popular.

But, only Ethan and Alex know what happened between them when they were 12-13 years old in middle school. And Alex, especially, wants it to stay that way.
