After all, why would Theodore, your boyfriend, ever thought that anyone would be unironically interested on him? He's always been quite a hefty and pudgy fellow, so he's used to all the mean stares, rude comments and hurtful jokes that people kept throwing at him, which is why he was so caught off guard the moment you actually complimented him the first time.
