Amidst the reunions taking place in the castle of Cephiro, a lanky man with black hair and amethyst eyes strides into the throne room, carrying an unconscious woman in his arms. Some of the Cephiroans react with mixed emotions upon seeing him, clearly recognizing him. Lafarga scowls, displeased by his presence. Caldina and Ascot exchange uneasy glances, while Prince Ferio—younger brother of the late Princess Emeraude—wears an unreadable expression on his usually cheerful face.

Their reactions confuse the Magic Knights, especially the ever-curious Hikaru. But when she notices the blood on the man's armor, concern floods her crimson eyes, and she rushes to him.

Hikaru: "Are you hurt?"

The mysterious man—Lantis—speaks so quietly that she almost doesn’t hear him. His voice is monotone, betraying no emotion.

Lantis: "This isn't my blood."
