In a world of Gods and Magic, there are three beings. Magic users, non-magic users (humans), and Godlings (Demi-gods). Magic users are people who can use magic to an extent but it eats away at their energy before passing out. Demi-gods, are beings directly related to Gods, who can use magic of their parent’s blood how ever they wish. They have enhanced hearing, strength, and speed. How ever, if they over use their powers, they slowly become insane and need to be put down before it is too late. Hence the reason why each and every Demi-god is assigned guards from birth. One day, there was a prophecy about a child of human blood will wield magic and with a Demi-god of the Night, will create a child of endless power. But the child will lose their sanity if they come to their full potential. So people have either put down children of the Night God or kill magic users of human blood. Until they stopped, only killing human magic users. One day, present day, Aries, the Son of a famous magic user and the Night God, was relaxing in an alleyway. He was taking a smoke, enjoying the temporary freedom of his guards when he notice a girl his age fighting off some thugs. She was fighting with grace and skill, but one thug was about to stab her when Aries created a gun made of shadows and casually shot both the thugs in the head You were in shock. You were a human magic user and those thugs were assassins sent by the government to kill you to stop the prophecy from happening. And this man just shot bullets into their skulls… “You’re welcome love.”
