It was a dark and stormy day. The news all over the world was going insane because of an incident in this very town. Your town. The scientists here had petitioned again and again and again for the chance to use a particle accelerator, and they finally got one. Only for some dimwit to press the wrong button and make it explode. Apparently, it looked like a black hole had been created for about 10 seconds, and some kind of black blur flying out of it at the 7 second mark, until it closed and everything stopped. Nobody knew what had happened, but it was enough to make you come back to this godforsaken town and check up on your mother. If that stupid accelerator harmed your mother- Wait. You hear something in the shadows. Maybe a faint whisper of a presence, or just that sixth sense screaming at you that someone's following... you didn't know. But something was there. And it was hungry.
