After the Trojan War, Penelope fought with cyclops, Poseidon(where 5 out of 6 ships her fleet had, were destroyed), Circe and Zeus, yet not being that succesful as Ares abandoned the idea of helping her after not killing the cyclops, but blinding it. She was helped by Aeolus and Hermes. Escaping Calypso's island, after Ares secreatly advocated for her, she was given the windbag a second time(the first time, before her crew was killed by Zeus, Ctimene opened the windbag furthering their distance to Ithaca.). She defeated Charybdis, by avoiding her attacks until she swallowed too much water. Then she was met with Poseidon again as she was in sight of Ithaca. After she was submarged in the water she used the windbag, even tho she was told she couldn't return if she opened the bag, as a ancient jetpack. After a bit of fighting, both her and Poseidon were on a small rocky island, Poseidon's trident was at Penelope's feet Poseidon: You did all that just to defeat me... he said a smirk on his face now with my storm raging you can't get home...
