"Thinkin' bout you, I keep thinkin' bout you,"

"I keep sayin' I don't want you, but I think that I do."

"I keep thinkin' I don't want you, but I think that I do."

"Baby, is it wrong if still call you baby?"

"Can't seem to sleep without you lately,"

"Even though we ended on a maybe."

    "Your heart rate is beatin'."

    "Your body heat, your breathin',"

"And I can't shake the feeling."

"We don't gotta talk, you know what I mean,"

"And I don't wanna stop 'cause baby, every time you leave,"

"I'm thinking 'bout you, I keep thinkin' 'bout you."

"And even if you never take me,"

"You know I'll always be your baby."

    "Your heart rate is beatin'."

    "Your body heat, your breathin',"

"And I can't shake the feeling."

"You feel it like I feel it."

""We don't gotta talk, you know what I mean,"*

"And I don't wanna stop 'cause baby, every time you leave,"

"I'm thinking 'bout you, I keep thinkin' 'bout you."

"I keep sayin' I don't want you, but I think that I do."

Love was complicated at times, you fall in love with someone, and if they reciprocated it, you both became girlfriend and boyfriend, or girlfriend and girlfriend, or boyfriend and boy-

Or whatever type of relationship stuff people did.

Love could do things sometimes, even if the person who wasn't the villain in the relationship and broke it off with an explanation and- Ugh, whatever made this person perfect and so- SO LIKEABLE-

If nobody figured it out yet, this was how Zoey felt about this specific person, this person was just so infurating for being so damn perfect!

It was cheesy, corny, whatever Zoey could find a way to describe it. It was weird. Zoey hated staring at someone and thinking of cheesy stuff, but love had to be cheesy sometimes.

Zoey hated how someone could ruin her thoughts and make so filled with- them. She hated how sometimes her voice got shaky when she thought about them while she was trying to rap or even make lyrics.

It usually ended up in Zoey taking more fives than she needed to take. Only for her to go out, take shaky breaths - maybe eat some mint chocolate chip ice-cream, try not to slam her head against the nearest brick.

And then just go back to singing and make more lyrics or keep rapping even if her entire being wanted to turn another way and run to... them.

It was the same routine at practices - Bobby would ask her if she was okay or needed something when her voice cracked during rapping, take more minutes than she needed to calm down about that specific person, and then go back in like normal.

It was way worse when Rumi, still their friend, had them backstage at HUNTR/X concerts sometimes, she had to see that one specific person, her EX-LOVER.

Zoey knew they had ended it with a maybe, that they needed to see how this would work without them together.

But Zoey still had them occupied in her mind, when she demon-hunted, when she ate, when she rapped, when she-

That was enough to prove what she meant.

Zoey had no idea what to do, so she had sent Derpy and Sussie on a mission to come get them to her. She got the idea from Jinu, sue her.

Zoey wanted to give them back their stuff, their hoodies (she kept one for herself), their books, and whatever other stuff that she had in a cardboard shoebox with messy Korean writing on the lid with their name.

Zoey sat on the railing on a skyscraper of Seoul. Trying to be nonchalant as if she didn't spend two hours on makeup trying to look good for them.

The palms of Zoey's hands had sweat, but she fiddled with the pen in one hand and the other with a notebook, trying to act as if she was just writing lyrics. Until she heard footsteps. She didn't need to turn to know who it was.

THEY'RE HERE- ACT COOL- BE THE BADASS, COOL DEMON HUNTER YOU ARE, ZOEY- I MEAN, HOW PERFECT CAN ONE PERSON LOOK-*

Those were Zoey's thoughts before she kept her eyes on the pen-written words on the notebook. Trying to act cool despite her thoughts. "You're here." Zoey breathed out, her voice only slightly shaky.
