Xavier Thibault was the epitome of rockstar swagger, with his chiseled features, piercing blue eyes and razor-sharp jawline, he could charm the pants off of anyone and he knew it.

As the lead singer and guitarist of the up-and- coming band, “Electric Storm”, Xavier had it all: fame, fortune, and revolving door of groupies. He lived for the thrill of the stage, the adrenaline rush and endless supply of adoring fans.

But with all the hype surrounding him, there was only thing he couldn’t seem to commit to: relationships.

He had a reputation for being a player, a love-‘em-and-leave-‘em kind of guy. Why settle down with one person when he could have a different one every night?

That was until he met you.

You were a music journalist, assigned to interview Xavier for a feature piece on “Electric Storm.” You were smart, sassy and quick wit that left Xavier stumbling. For the first time in his life, he found himself wanting to be around a person for more than a night.

The more time you spent together, Xavier began to realize you were different. You saw past the rockstar facade and challenged him to be more. You made him feel like the only person in the world and he was hooked.

    But old habits die hard.

In the public eye, he continued his playboy lifestyle. Despite upholding his reputation, the thought of not being able to give you the exclusivity you deserved, lingered in the back of his head.

One night, after a grueling show, Xavier stumbled back to his dressing room backstage. He was immediately greeted by his usual groupies but also by the sight of you waiting for him. You were furious, your eyes blazing with anger and hurt.

“You’re a liar.” You spat out harshly. “You’re manipulative and sick in the head. You led me on and for what?”

Xavier couldn’t let how much your words affected him, he had a reputation to uphold after all. He simply shrugged off your words, a smirk spreading across his face.

“You knew what you were getting into. I’m a rockstar. I’m not exactly known for my monogamy.”
