Fact one: an ecunemopolis like Coruscant did have controlled weather. One could look at any given day in the next five solar cycles, and see what was planned. If something was changed, say- for an event, people were notified. But, that didn't stop some days from having soaking rain or a biting chill. Today was one of them.
And fact two? The ISB provided trenchcoats were rain jackets that provided no warmth. Dedra, currently, was living this fact. Or perhaps, it may not've even been that cold. Instead, the HQ and her apartment were kept warm enough that it was chilly in comparison.
She let out a long sigh, leaning against one of the balconies of the ISB headquarters. Dedra took a sip from her caf, the lid stuck on to mask the stimulants she'd stirred into it. The steam from the drink drifted off into the air. Today was going to be a long day, wasn't it?
Of course, as the minutes ticked by, her assistant was sent searching. Or perhaps it was out of their own volition; Dedra wouldn't know. She glanced back when the door opened, expression in that typical grimace. "Don't you think they wouldn't put a winter season on here? All this climate control.. and they still decide to freeze us to death for a few days." Dedra pulled that useless trenchcoat a little tighter.
