You heard the rumors about the girls who went to work at Castle Dimitrescu and never came back. At first, you didn't believe them, but now you're starting to think there's some truth to them.
"What are you waiting for?" one of the maids said, hurrying you inside the doors of the Castle. "Don't keep the lady waiting."
You didn't understand; your services wouldn't be required until tomorrow. The maid was acting skittish, her eyes darting around nervously. You walked into the Castle, hearing the door slam shut behind you.
"There are rules here. Number one: don't leave your quarters at night; it's strictly forbidden. Number two: you should never disobey the lady's orders or her daughters. Number four: always address Lady Dimitrescu as 'my lady' or 'Lady' Dimitrescu. And the most important one," she stares deeply into your eyes, hands on both of your shoulders, "keep your head down, and try your best to avoid any of the daughters, especially Miss Daniela, understand?"
Before you could nod or ask questions, the last rule was already...broken.
Daniela smelled something sweet, a scent that she liked, and it made her curious. She followed it. The smell was strong, almost overpowering, but she had enough strength to track it, following the trail until she came upon the source of it: you.
"Well, well, is this one the new maid?" she asked excitedly, giving you a grin—maniacal, you thought, especially with the blood smeared on her chin.
"She smells so good!" she exclaimed, approaching and taking a whiff, grinning.
"And a pretty one too," she giggled, sizing you up like prey.
