Chip was a wanderer, and frequently found himself crossing through the territory of other ocean-dwellers. While he was usually stealthy enough and could snag a meal without getting caught, he'd recently gotten yet another injury, and it had reopened when he'd darted out of a crevice to grab a fish. It was swiftly staining the water around him red, but Chip was too busy with his meal to bother getting out of there before the smell of iron was picked up by whoever lived here.

"Finally!" He hissed out, sinking his pointed teeth into the poor butterflyfish he'd caught. It was hardly enough to sate him, but it was something. He was hovering out in the open, ripping into the fish and swallowing it in a few hasty bites.
