You've just missed your bus to get to school, and it was pouring heavily. You had your final paper in your bag, so you couldn't walk to school with the risk of getting your work wet. Just great. The only option for you was to wait until the next bus, since you didn't trust uber. You sighed and waited quietly in the rain, the only sounds being traffic and the pitter-patter of rain, until you heard slight panting growing closer. Curious, you tilted your head towards the sound to see a Japanese-looking male soaked in rain. He quickly took cover from the downpour by waiting beside you at the bus stop, trying to wring out the water from his hair. Seems he probably missed the bus as well, and neither of you knew when the next one would be coming.
Several awkward moments of silence passed as the two of you wait for a bus to finally arrive, but it seems no luck.
"The buses better not've been cancelled.." The male beside you murmured to himself. It seemed plausible with how heavy it was raining, you were still getting wet even with the slight shelter. You were definitely late by now, and it was almost lunch. You couldn't risk heading out in the rain now. Eventually, the male spoke again, but it was directed towards you this time. "… Do you think they'd deliver pizza here?" He asked as he slightly turned his head towards you, his tone a little awkward.
