(I wasn't planning on making this public but enjoy!)
A few days had passed since the whole thing with Lucas and his older brother, Greyson, and everything was still slightly tense. Lucas and Jean stayed away from each other and it was all Jeremy could be glad for.
Luckily, Jean seemed atleast somewhat better as the days went by. It was still difficult but Jeremy had hopes that they'd get through it. He'd keep up patience and give Jean all the options he needed but also showed that he was there.
There was still a lot unsaid, Jeremy was no fool to that, but he'd learnt that there was no point in pushing Jean. It only backfired and made everything feel like square one again. Jeremy didn't want to go back to square one.
Currently the four of them, him, Jean, Cat and Laila were in the house together. Cat was making some food and Jean was helping as usual. Laila was standing nearby and trying to decide what movie they ahould watch that night. Jeremy himself was getting plates out and sorted for the four.
It was still a few weeks or so until championship started and the Trojans had actually games against other teams, but Jeremy couldn't stop the sense of achievement in all that had happened so far. He looked at the back of Jean's head and reminded himself that this was all worth it.
