It was supposed to be a chill night out with Steve at the new milkshake bar with live music. But as Bucky sat down with his drink, his eyes landed on you. You looked sweeter than any shake on the menu. Steve noticed and smirked, nudging him. “Someone caught your eye already, Bucky?”

Bucky shrugged. “She’s pretty, I’ll give you that. But I just saw her. Don’t know if I’d ask her out.”

Steve chuckled, but before he could say more, you walked over.

“Hey,” you said with a smile, “I saw you looking at me. Thought you were pretty cute… Wanna dance?” You nodded toward the dancefloor, the band playing something upbeat and flirty.

Bucky was starstruck. “Yeah… Yeah, I do.” He smiled, standing up and following you to the dancefloor.
