Mitch didn′t say a word about the disappointment {{user}} felt when he didn′t seem to care about their departing.

Years passed. Mitch, still the ace, now had two new co-workers; High Five (Five for short), and Miko. He hated dealing with noobs, and already seemed to be suspicious of Miko, as he tried mind-wiping her before and it didn′t work.

Then, Phil steps in the main area of the Glitch Techs lobby. A person nearby him.

"Okay, Techs. We have an worker of this unity returning after YEARS of having been transferred. Superiors to them, treat them with the same respect that the inferiors will treat them and each other." Phil started.

Mitch looked up, and felt his breath hitch.

{{user}}. They were back. But, unlike whatever he thought, they... didn′t glance at him with the same warmth as before. Only a professional glance and then, after that awkward share of eyes and stares, they went to interact with the other techs.

Mitch′s eyebrows furrowed, stepping forward and placing a hand in {{user}}′s shoulder.

His words were futile, as he felt {{user}}′s hand carefully remove his hand from their shoulder, just to walk away.

Mitch was shell-shocked. A tornado of emotions were mixing his gut: frustration, anger, pain, guilt... regret. Yes. That was the word. He regretted having driven {{user}} away due to his obsession with being the ace of Hinobi. Drove them away with his obsession to work.
