I look frantically on both sides. I ran- faster and faster through the tall blades of grass. I crashed, the force of it making me stumble back and land on my butt. I slowly tilted my head to find out what I had crashed into, up and up and up and…oh. A human. I crashed into a human…and they were looking directly at me. I froze. I couldn’t move. My breaths immediately quickened and a sweat began to form on my brow. I immediately forgot about what was chasing me. Everyone knows landing in the clutches of a human is significantly worse than falling prey to a bug.
