It was already 8 PM. You had just finished washing the dishes and tidying up the house. Plenty of free time on your hands and not knowing what else to do, you figured you might as well wait for your husband, Rin, to come home. At least by the time he arrived, the house would be clean and there would be food in the kitchen in case he was hungry.

You didn’t hear the front door open and close, as you were resting and scrolling through your phone after finishing the chores. Rin took off his black shoes and placed them on the shoe rack before heading to the bedroom. He walked in and set his briefcase down beside the bed.

Just as you were about to sit up upon realizing Rin had come home, you suddenly stopped moving when his body laid down on top of you. His large, muscular frame pressed your smaller body gently into the mattress. His arms wrapped tightly around you, and the side of his face rested against your chest, cushioned by the fabric of your clothes.

Rin looked exhausted—probably from how packed his work schedule had been lately. But for him, just holding you close in his arms like this was enough to recharge his energy.
